Java developer-Project manager
Our client is a market leader multinational company with global presence in the IT sector.
Tasks/ Main responsibilities:
• Provide and agree on effort estimates/sizing with the Technical Operations Leader
• Provide support activities to site users
• Continuously analyze the system performance and customer needs with help of the Sysadmin team.
• Take part in scheduling/ planning of application related system upgrades
I in cooperation with company server farm team
• Follow the main information forums, technical and strategic changes in
the IT market, and continuously keep his/her knowledge up-to-date in all
systems, services and technology in responsible areas
• Follow strategic changes in all systems that are in IT responsibility areas
• Follow the tendencies in the third party IT market that can influence the company
keep knowledge on high level, seek for new ideas, technologies, give overview to the team on specific topics.
• Share knowledge and information towards related IT teams
• Daily communication with Developers via TR, phone in problem handling,
system analyzing, developing, new solutions
• Monthly meeting with developers to discuss the concepts, problems,ideas, strategy
• Continuous communication in IT related tasks affected other IT teams
(Sysadmin Team, Network Team, DSS Team, IT management)
Requirements:
• College/University degree
• Min. 2-3 years relevant experience
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Strong project management in terms of defining and execution of projecttasks
• Java, DB2, MQ, Message broker, Hybernate and JPA knowledge
• Eclipse, J2EE, Struts technology experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
